A general respiratory system

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
-          Consists of canal/tube, organ and tissue including the cartilage.
-          If the structures are related with respiratory system mostly are termed with respiratory such as trachea which an air-way passage called respiratory tube/tract and alveoli are the sac inside the lung are called respiratory sac.
-          The respiratory system is categorised into two; conducting part and respiratory part. For instances are trachea, bronchi and bronchioles are conducting part except the respiratory part such as pleura itself and alveoli.
-          The most significance in this respiratory system is the two lungs which are the left and right.
-          Basically the lungs are known with some borders and its fissures that separate each lung into several lobes.
-          For the left side of the lung, it has 1 fissure contributing into 2 lobes. While the right pleura consist of 3 lobes due to the 2 fissures.
-          Each side of the lung contain its own segments which are more useful in clinical surgeon in detecting the specific blood vessel located on the surface of the lungs.
-          The left lung has usually 8 segments but only 10 segments can be found in the right side.
